The snooze button – the most dangerous of technologies available to the common man. A button so problematic it forces you to make irrational decisions when you are in a state of mind that isn’t yet ready to be taking on such important decisions…the half awake state of mind. “should I wake up and get ready??? Hmmm I probably should…wait hold on a minute…if I sleep for ten more minutes I could skip breakfast and still make it on time…genius now go back to sleep…” *ten minutes later* “has it been 10 minutes already…I should get up…wait…if I snooze for 5 more minutes I could reduce my shirt selection time and STILL make it on time…genius!” and so in it continues…all these intricate little plans seem very well thought out of when your mind is half dreaming, but you know very well you will pay the price of the snooze once you are fully aware of what just happened.

it’s bad enough we have to deal with an alarm, probably the most evil of inventions ever created. Just when you are half way through munching on that humongous house made entirely out of candy…KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGG!!!!!! The alarm goes off …evil at its best…
So it seems like the alarm and the snooze button got together and decided to psychologically play ping-pong with our minds and cause us morning torture every day to which we succumb to gladly. They tag team us into insanity…I wake him up…you make him go sleep. Wake up/sleep, wake up/sleep….

Well joke’s on you snooze abuse…coz starting October 11 my BlackBerry is going to be rendered useless and all it will serve me for is as a large pocket filler…however I’ll be looking out for a new phone…and rest assured that the new phone…will be snooze button free…
